Our speaker for April will be Rob Wall, director of the North Carolina Commission of Racial and Ethnic Disparities in the Criminal Justice System (NC-CRED). He’ll be talking about implicit bias (or underlying assumptions about the world that we aren’t aware of). This presentation will explore the science of implicit bias and unconscious racism and discuss its effect on criminal justice decision-making, from police to attorneys, to judges, to juries, to policy makers.
