What is Sunday Assembly?

We are an inclusive nonreligious community that celebrates life and wants to help everyone live life as fully as possible.

We are one of many Sunday Assembly chapters around the world.

We are here for everyone who wants to:

  • Live Better. We aim to provide inspiring, thought-provoking and practical ideas that help people to live the lives they want to lead and be the people they want to be.
  • Help Often. We support one another, and look for opportunities to help those around us who need it.
  • Wonder More. Hearing insightful talks, singing as one, listening to readings, sharing personal stories and even playing games all help us to connect with each other and the awesome world we live in.

What happens at Sunday Assembly?

You can expect to hear an inspiring talk, join in singing a few popular songs, listen to a life experience from a fellow member, enjoy a few moments of reflection, and meet interesting people over coffee and a potluck lunch. No matter what the subject of the Assembly, it will calm your worries, refresh your spirits, provoke kindness, and maybe even inject a touch of transcendence into the everyday.

Our Sunday morning assemblies are held on the second Sunday of each month. You can check out our previous Assemblies on Youtube.

In addition to our monthly Assemblies, we hold small group gatherings throughout the month including board game nights, walks, volunteering, and more. We encourage our attendees to create their own one-off or recurring small group gatherings.

We welcome all who welcome all, without regard to age, sex, gender, color, citizenship, sexual orientation, or creed. We want Sunday Assembly to be a house of love and compassion, where, no matter what your situation, you are welcomed, accepted and loved.
