Home > Speaker > April 2015: Christopher Krupenye – Wonder More about the Origins of Human Behavior

Our guest speaker at this month’s Assembly will be Duke University PhD candidate, Christopher Krupenye. Chris has spent the last 4 years researching at chimpanzee and bonobo sanctuaries in Africa, studying the decision-making and cooperative behaviors of our closest evolutionary relatives. He’ll tell us a little about just how similar apes are to humans (and, bonus, there will be awesome videos of adorable chimps doing cool things!). For more background on Chris’s work, check out this article he recently had published in The Atlantic. If you are extra eager to pick Chris’s brain about chimpanzee behavior, be sure to sign up to come with us to lunch after the Assembly!
