Home > Speaker > February 2018: Lemur Love

Please join us for our monthly assembly! Our speaker will be Tara Clarke-Fontana, Visiting Assistant Professor in Evolutionary Anthropology at Duke University. Tara is the co-founder of Lemur Love, a conservation group that collects and disseminates research on lemurs. She’ll be speaking about her research and work in lemur conservation.

We meet on the second Sunday of every month. Each assembly includes songs, speakers, and other fun stuff. Singing along is encouraged! The assembly lasts for one hour, followed by snacks and time to chat and get to know each other. Children of all ages are welcome! We have a separate room for kids’ activities, supervised by a couple of volunteers, and anyone is welcome to move between the rooms at any time during the assembly.
