This month, we’re excited to have Jay Niver of the Final Exit Network, a national group that supports Medical Aid in Dying legislation as part of the Death with Dignity movement. FEN focuses on giving individuals, families, and doctors the legal and emotional tools for any competent adult with intractable pain or illness to die on their own terms.
Jay has a special connection to these issues: twenty-five years ago, his terminally ill father said “I’m going to decide when I’ve had enough.”
